Yellow Travel Limited, the top provider of taxis from birmingham airport celebrating 22 years in business in the West Midlands, is delighted to be carrying more and more passengers to our local international hub who are availing of Flybe’s additional flights to Cornwall.
Now, just an hour’s flight from Birmingham, Cornwall Airport Newquay is an inviting destination for travellers wishing to explore the many beaches, seaside towns and altogether relaxed nature that the Southwestern tip of the United Kingdom has to offer.
“Having recorded an extraordinary 48% year-on-year growth last year, we’re officially the fastest growing airport in the U.K. While we don’t expect another year of growth at last year’s levels, we certainly expect further development, and this latest endorsement by Flybe will be part of this,” affirmed, Al Titterington, Managing Director, Cornwall Airport Newquay. “We’ve more to come too as airlines finalise their plans for S17. I fully expect that Cornwall’s aspiring airport will be announcing more new routes during 2017, taking the airport close to record levels.”
Flybe is now running a total of 9 flights per week from taxi from birmingham airport as part of the expansion plan. Overall, the airline has upped its flights capacity from Cornwall to 64 flights per week - an increase of 25%.

Meanwhile, Flybe has mounted collections on board all flights to raise vital research funds in aid of its charity partner, Cancer Research U.K. Kids and Teens. Since 2008, Flybe staff and customers have donated over £680,000 to Cancer Research U.K. to help in the fight to beat cancer sooner.
“In the U.K., around 1,800 children and 2,400 teens and young adults are diagnosed with cancer each year,” noted, Claire Rowney, Director, Cancer Research U.K. Kids and Teens. “Around three-quarters of children (0-14 year-olds) with cancer now survive beyond 10 years and many children cancer survivors have benefited from research funded by Cancer research U.K.”
We wish the airline the best with the important fundraising campaign on flights and look forward to serving passengers to Cornwall with a taxi from birmingham airport.
